Fair Sponsors Help Keep the Stevens County Fair Free and Fantastic

As you stroll through the Stevens County Fairgrounds, you’ll notice signs proudly recognizing the many businesses, individuals, and organizations who sponsor buildings, events, and grounds acts. These signs represent more than just names—they reflect the strong community support that powers the largest free fair in western Minnesota.

The Stevens County Fair offers a wide range of sponsorship opportunities, from as little as $150 to multi-thousand-dollar partnerships. Each and every dollar is deeply appreciated and directly contributes to keeping the fair a free-admission, free-parking event for all who attend. Sponsorships help bring in crowd-favorite attractions, quality entertainment, and essential services—all at no or little cost to fairgoers.

Thanks to sponsor support, the fair continues to grow and improve. This year, a new fence was installed along the highway to enhance safety for both livestock and people. Upgrades have also been made to the lighting and sound systems in the livestock show arena, ensuring that shows and contests are more enjoyable for both participants and audiences.

Several other important improvements include a new livestock sheep wash bay and notable changes in the 4-H exhibit building—updates made possible through the hard work of 4-Hers and their parents. These additions not only enhance the experience for exhibitors but also reflect the fair’s commitment to youth and agriculture.

The north stage—known as the SCMC Stage—also received improvements, allowing for an even better experience during musical performances and special events. Additionally, behind-the- scenes projects have been quietly making a big difference. Since last year’s fair, visitors will notice an upgrade to the poultry building and the removal of an outdated storage structure, clearing the way for future improvements.

And the work doesn’t stop there. The fairboard is constantly reviewing and prioritizing a list of repairs, updates, and replacements to enhance the fairgrounds year after year. Many of these efforts may go unnoticed by the public, but they are essential to the fair’s success and safety. If you or your business would like to become a partner in supporting the Stevens County Fair, visit www.stevenscountyfair.org or talk to any fairboard member. Together with our sponsors, we’re proud to bring the community six days of entertainment, exhibits, food, and family fun—without ever charging a gate or parking fee. Thank you, sponsors, for being part of the tradition where memories are made.

See you August 5-10, 2025 at the Stevens County Fair!
