How do I get to and from the fair?
You can get directions to the fair on our contact us page. We offer free parking and have a shuttle service available for our park and ride program.
When does the fair open and close each day?
Because we are a free gate fair the gates are open early and you can even get breakfast at the hockey booth as early as 6:30 am. The fair closes at midnight until 6:00am.
When is Lions Bingo Open?
You can see times for Bingo HERE. Most events and times are posted on our events calendar.
What does it cost me to park and get into the fair each day?
We are a free gate free parking fair so it will not cost you anything to come to the fair. Pakring locations are Gate #1 by the Lee Center and Gate #5 is the large parking lot on the south side of the grounds.
Is there a lost and found at the fair?
Yes, Any item found is held at the infomation booth. along with a list of lost items.
How can I participate in open class?
Please go to the exhibitor handbook and find which class your item would fit. The registration times and place are listed. Good Luck.
I won a prize with my button, how do I claim my prize?
If the fair is still going you can stop at the info booth (red fishhouse) in the middle of the fairgrounds to claim. If the fair is over, please contact the fair at info@stevenscountyfair.org up to a week after the fair.
Does the Fair have Camping?
The fair has about 45 campsites that are on a first come basis. The current rate is $120 for the week.
Accessibility Questions
We want everyone to have a fun and enjoyable experience at the Stevens County Fair! This page provides information on our accessibility features to help you plan your visit.
How can I get around the fair?
The fairground is primarily on one level with paved walkways throughout. Please note that the carnival area is grass only. Accessible restrooms can be found in two locations; the first being the Lee Community Center and second being the North restroom between the show arena and Dairy Barn.
How can I rent a mobility scooter?
The fair has 5 scooters that we rent out. It is $10 for 2 hours of use. Visit scooters.stevenscountyfair.org to sign up for use or stop at the information booth at the fair to pick a open time slot.
Where can I find the handicap parking at the fair?
Handicap only parking is available at Gate 1 in the Lee Center Lot, along county road 22 between gates 3 and 4. At Gate 5 you will find two parking locations; one along the south side of the carnival and the other just south of the restrooms. Please note that handicap parking spaces often fill up early each day. There is no guarantee that a space will be available.
Where can I get dropped off?
Drivers can drop off passengers at Gates 2, 3, or 4. You can also get dropped off outisde of the Lee Center at Gate 1.
Is there handicapped seating in the grandstand?
Accessible seating is available in the grandstand. Please contact us in advance to reserve your spot. There are also several benches throughout the fair grounds.
Can I use my Golf Cart at the fair?
No, The fair does not allow Golf Carts due to safety and even the ones fair uses for service on the grounds is limited during busy hours and uses back routes. You are welcome to bring it to the fair but it must stay in the parking lot.
Can I bring my own electric mobility scooter, stroller, wagons or wheelchair?
Yes, you can! Individuals are welcome to bring their own electric mobility scooter, stroller, wagon, wheelchair and personal conveyance vehicles (PCVs) on the fairgrounds.
A vehicle will be considered a PCV if it does not exceed 48 inches in length or 32 inches in width and travels on three or more wheels. Golf carts or ATVs are not considered to be a PCV.

Allowed & Prohibited Items Questions
What items are prohibited at the fair?
Prohibited items include:
- Weapons of any kind, including but not limited to: firearms, knives, objects that appear to be weapons, pepper spray, mace, tasers, or other self-defense items
- Fireworks or other explosive and flammable objects
- Outside alcoholic beverages or any illegal substance
- Drones or any remote-controlled toys
- Bikes, skateboards, skates, hoverboards
- Pets, including emotional support animals
- Service animals allowed
- Face coverings intended to conceal wearer’s identity
- Religious and health reasons permitted
- Other items may be refused at the discretion of Stevens County Fair management or law enforcement.
Can I bring food and drinks onto the fairgrounds?
Certainly. Fair guests are welcome to bring outside food and drinks. No alcoholic beverages may be brought into the fair.
Can I bring in a backpack, bag or cooler?
Yes. Backpacks, bags and coolers are permitted on the fairgrounds, but are subject to search. There are no lockers or a bag check at the fair. Please note: Coolers are not permitted at the grandstand.
Can I bring my pet to the fair?
During the fair, pets are not allowed on the fairgrounds, with the exception of service dogs or animals approved as part of an exhibition. Service dogs are those that have been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Can I operate my drone over the fairgrounds?
No, you cannot. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors, the fair prohibits unauthorized operation or use of any unmanned aerial vehicle on or above the Fairgrounds year-round. This includes all UAVs, commonly known as “drones,” regardless of commercial or recreational purpose. Any UAV(s) observed at or near the Fairgrounds will be reported to local law enforcement and the Federal Aviation Administration.

Amenities Questions
Where are bathrooms located?
Bathrooms are located in three different locations:
- In the Lee Community Center
- North Restroom – near the show arena
- South Restroom – near the carnival

Where can I find an ATM?
ATM’s can be found by the food court, outside of the fair office and in the carnival.
Can I use a credit card at the fair?
Credit Cards can be used at the grandstand ticket booth, information booth, and at the carnival. Select merchandise and food vendors and ticketed attractions also accept debit/credit cards.
Where can I find a baby changing station?
The north restroom and the rest cottage next to Dairy Queen.
Where are hand wash stations located on the fairgrounds?
Handwashing can be found in all bathrooms, outside the beef barn and next to the Storck Bandshell.
Is there Wi-Fi on the fairgrounds?
There is no public Wi-Fi on the fairgrounds, however employees and vendors do have access to Wi-Fi.
Carnival Questions
How many tickets do I need for each ride?
Family Fun Shows uses one ticket per ride on all rides. Advance ride tickets are available for purchase prior to the first day of the carnival. Check out our Ride Tickets page.

Food & Beverage Questions
When are food vendors open?
Most vendors are open from 10am-10pm, some open as early as 6:30am and may stay open up until the fairgrounds close for the day.
Do food vendors accept credit cards?
Many food vendors have begun accepting credit cards but we still recommend bringing cash as some vendors may not accept cards.
How can I be a food vendor at the fair?
Submit an application and list of your food items to the food committee through our e-mail or use our online form. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted. Please have your application in by May 1st. The fair trys to not duplicate foods and mostly limits vendors to Stevens County or any adjoining counties unless you have a unique food.

Who owns the fairgrounds?
The Stevens County Agricultural Society.
When does the fair open and close each day?

Who decides who performs at the fair each year?
The fairboard makes the final decision based on reccomendations from our free-stage and concert committees.

What are the dates of the 2025 fair?
The fair backs up from labor day and the start of the MN State Fair. Our ending day is 10 days before the MN State fair starts. This should put the 2025 date August 5-10, 2025 and August 11-16, 2026. We will confirm the dates with the next carnival contract.
Why do I hear the fair playing a non local radio station on the PA system?
There are radio stations that donate to the Stevens County Fair. Because they are supporters we thank them for their large donations by tuning to their stations during the fair.
Where can I find the fairgrounds?
We are located in the SW part of Morris on County Road 22. Our address is 177 County Road 22. Get Directions. Check out our fair MAP.
Grandstand Questions
What events happen in the grandstand?

Where can I buy grandstand tickets?
Pre-fair tickets can be purchased on our ticket site. Events that are not sold out can be purchased at the grandstand ticket booth. Tickets can also be purchased at the information booth for that days event only.
What is the grandstand refund policy?
We understand that unexpected weather can disrupt plans. To ensure a fair and equitable policy, please review the following:
- If inclement weather necessitates the cancellation of an event before it begins, ticket holders will receive a full refund upon presenting their ticket stub or purchase receipt at the fair office within the following day, between the hours of 10 AM and 6 PM.
- Once an event has commenced, refunds will not be issued regardless of weather conditions.

Why do you not have larger named bands?
We’re thrilled to offer a diverse lineup of live music at the Stevens County Fair! Providing entertainment for our guests is a top priority. To make this possible, we carefully budget our entertainment expenses. While we strive to bring in a variety of performers, the costs associated with live music can be significant, ranging from $2,500 to $4,500 per band for a few hours. It’s important to note that securing larger, nationally known acts can cost upwards of $500,000 or more. We appreciate your understanding as we work diligently to provide the best possible entertainment experience within our budget.

Who should I call in the case of an emergency?
Call 911 for emergencies and to reach police, fire and medical.
Where are the designated smoking areas on the fairgrounds?
For the comfort and safety of all, no smoking or vaping of any products are allowed on the fairgrounds. Thank you for supporting a healthy environment!
Where can I find first aide?
First aide can be found at the Stevens County Sheriff booths by the 4-H building and the shed at the carnival.
Where can I find an AED?
AED’s are located at the fair office, show arena, dairy barn, and next to the grandstand entrance.
