As the Stevens County Fair prepares to welcome visitors August 11–16, 2026, fairgoers can once again count on convenient, accessible and free parking options at the largest free fair in west central Minnesota.
Where Can I Park?
Parking during the Stevens County Free Fair is always free, with designated lots located at Gate 1 and Gate 5.
Gate 5 features the largest parking area, stretching all the way back to the railroad tracks and offering ample space during even the busiest evenings. Gate 1 also provides convenient access for fair visitors.
On high-traffic nights, the fair operates a free golf cart shuttle within the Gate 5 lot to help reduce walking distance and assist guests getting to the entrance more comfortably.
Handicap Parking and Scooters Available
The fair offers four designated handicapped parking areas to ensure accessibility for all guests:
- Lee Center Parking Lot (Gate 1): A few handicap spots are available in the Lee Center lot when entering through Gate 1.
- County Road 22 (Between Gates 3 and 4): Handicap parking is available along the northbound lane of County Road 22 between Gate 3 and Gate 4.
- Gate 5 Access (Two Areas): Two additional handicap parking areas are accessible by entering Gate 5 and following signage toward the handicap areas along with a drop-off area near the south restrooms.
- Scooters: The fair offers fairgoers a limited number of scooters for visitors to use for a small charge. You can reserve a scooter online at stevenscountyfair.org then information/forms. Select the time you wish and it will be ready for you at the information booth on the fairgrounds. Each year we work on making more areas accessible with sidewalks making your trip to the fair more enjoyable.
Free Park and Ride Service Expanding
In recent years, the fair introduced its popular Free Park and Ride Service, and organizers plan to expand service again in 2026. Park and Ride will run Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4:00pm to Midnight each of the 3 busy evenings provided by Aksamit Bus Service and fair sponsors.
Aksamit Shuttles run approximately every 15 minutes between designated pickup & drop-off sites at Faith Lutheran Church, GrandStay Hotel & Suites, Hudson Inn, Morris, MN and Morris Area Schools lot. Riders are dropped off at our new bus stop at Gate 3 next to the Dairy Building at the heart of the fairgrounds. Visitors are encouraged to check the fair’s website at stevenscountyfair.org for any updated schedule locations.
The shuttle service is completely free and is often the easiest and most stress-free way to attend the fair. The final shuttle of the evening departs the fairgrounds at midnight.
