Grandstand Entertainment Expands for 2026 Stevens County Fair

The Stevens County Fair is gearing up for an exciting 2026 season with a refreshed and action-packed grandstand lineup that promises something for everyone. From roaring engines to live country music and rodeo thrills, this year’s schedule delivers high-powered entertainment all week long.

Wednesday Night: Dirt Track Driver Meet and Greet (Free Event)

Grandstand festivities begin Wednesday evening with a free community event, Dirt Track Driver Meet and Greet Fairgoers will have the opportunity to meet many local race car drivers from area WISSOTA tracks. Drivers plan to bring their cars for fans to see up close, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the machines that light up dirt tracks across the region. There is not a race, it is only to meet the drivers and chat about racing.

Several drivers have shared plans for giveaways and special promotions, making it a great evening for race fans of all ages. This event will be located in the Grandstand pit area just enter thru the grandstand main gate.

Thursday Night: Red River Valley Pullers

Thursday night shifts into high gear as the Red River Valley Pullers take over the grandstand for the Modified Truck and Tractor Pull. Spectators can expect to see Two-Wheel and Four-Wheel Drive Trucks, along with Modified Gas and Diesel Tractors, all competing in a showcase of raw horsepower and precision driving with engines ranging from single-engine setups to possible multiple V-8 configurations, jet turbines, and even massive 1,700 cubic-inch aircraft engines.

Friday Night: Sawyer Brown in Concert

Friday night brings country music to center stage as Sawyer Brown performs live on the Insurance Partners Inc. Stage. Opening the evening at 7:30 p.m. will be rising country artist Sadie Bass, setting the tone for a night of high-energy entertainment.

With decades of hits and a reputation for engaging live performances, Sawyer Brown’s appearance is expected to be one of the highlights of the 2026 fair.  Purchase tickets online at stevenscountyfair.org or stop at the Insurance partners inc. office at 202 E 7th St for in person sales, no C-cards in person sales.

Saturday Night: MRA Rodeo Return

Saturday night marks the return of the ever-popular MRA Rodeo, sponsored by Dacotah Bank. Known for its fast-paced action and crowd-pleasing events, the rodeo delivers thrills from start to finish.

Fans can expect a full slate of rodeo favorites in a night packed with excitement that has become a staple of the Stevens County Fair experience.

Sunday: Enduro & Demo Derby Finale

The fair wraps up Sunday, August 16, with a full day of motor sports action. The Enduro Race kicks off at 1:00 p.m., sponsored by Verro Auto Group and Denco 11, featuring endurance-style racing that keeps fans on the edge of their seats.

Later that evening at 6:30 p.m., the always popular Demo Derby, sponsored by Heartland Motors, closes out the fair with smashing, crashing excitement that has long been a fan favorite.
